All green teas come from the same Camellia sinensis plant. The differences are in the way they are grown and harvested.
Traditional matcha green tea made exclusively from the tips of the youngest tea plants. The pure dried leaves are stone ground into a super fine powder. Matcha is exclusively used in tea ceremony. Smooth, delicate and lightly sweet.
Gyokuro is the most premium green tea available prior to the harvest, the plantation is shaded from sunlight, creating a more fragrant and aromatic tea.
Slightly sweeter than sencha, known for a crisp, clean taste.
Freshly picked tea leaves are immediately steamed and rubbed to release their flavor and aroma before slowly drying. This traditional process preserves Sencha’s emerald green color and high antioxidants, most popular tea in Japan.
Genmaicha is made from premium first-leaf sencha, genmai, and a pinch of matcha. This low caffeine tea has a crisp, slightly nutty taste. The pinch of matcha gives it an extraordinary bright green color.
Toasted sencha leaves very low in caffeine. This tea has an amber color and is aromatic and delicious.
Oolong – pot of tea, 3.75
Oolong tea combines the steaming of green teas and the fermentation of black teas. Oolong tea has a rich taste but is much lower in caffeine than black tea. A very light and delicate taste.
Hand rolled from pure buds into pearl shaped balls, this highly scented tea has a sweet and soothing aroma.
Highly scented by fresh Jasmine flowers, buds are tied into balls and open into beautiful flower in hot water. A very luxurious tea.
Sea shell shaped balls are hand tied from tea buds. They open gradually in hot water to display a white chrysanthemum flower surrounded by snow plum flower buds. A beautifully exotic tea, soothing and refreshing.
